what does this mean?

cheers is it just as good to buy normal and push the roots into the sand?

it doesnt matter how the plants come...depending on the species it will need planting differently...if it has a rhizome (bulb on the bottom) then the rhizome needs to be above the substrate...stem plants can just go in the substrate,
