Help With Plant Names...

I'm on the website thatpetplace.com and i am searching for new plants to put into my aquarium, but i want to get the most natural look. so i don't want to have plants that are from this area and fish from this area, i know i am getting a little carried away but if you could i would appreciate the help...

Would this plant look appropriate in an amazon themed tank? im also in search of a large artificial amazon root system to add to my tank. or a similar large piece of wood.

Okay... i guess this is not a very popular subject! LOL... But if anyone is feeling generous, feel free to fill me in on plant life of the amazon, besides the obvious amazon swords...

Try asking in the planted forum you might get more help. I dont bother with plants in my cichlid tank because if they are real they would be decimated by my severum and if they were fake they would just get dug up and moved around by my other cichlids. I dont decorate my tank my cichlids do

Thanks i will try that, but i am not really doing it for decor as much as for shelter for my convict so it's not always being bothered by my jewel...
