Can anyone help ID this plant

inahch.jpg

Many thanks

It looks like some sort of Rotala but I've never seen it. Someone will probably be here to help you out pretty soon

looks like Hygrophila polysperma to me. although i could be wrong, as the leaves grow longer and thinner in my tanks.

Hi I can also confirm this is hygrophila as i have the same growing in my tank. i noticed you have Corys in your tank. They prefer a softer medium in which to root around. if your large peebles are sharp their "whiskers" may wear away.

Cheers

Kim

Missed your reply as went away for a few days, The large pebbles are round with no sharp edges, and a quarter of the tank is sand as well.

I really like the look of those pebbles, perhaps not ideal but at first I thought they were a load of fallen leaves just like autumn in a forest!

If they're smooth I am sure the corys will do fine, in fact it may give them a bit more to push through with all the crevices it creates.
