Ok my water has 0 ammonia 0 nitrites and 40 nitrates.
I bough a male and female krib on friday and the male keeps bullying the female. So today I went back to the shop to buy another female so the male would have 2 to pick from. When I arrived at the shop the tank with the kribs in it didnt look good. Most had white spots etc and there was one dead in it. I have been treating my tank for white spot as I thought the female showed 2 white spots but the male looks fine. I thought she had white spot from stress from him bullying her.
Anyway a long story short I seperated them last night by putting him in a bowl in the tank and have just done a 30% water change and moved the tank about before releasing him so hopefully he will leave her alone now as she looks really good after havign a rest from him.
I will try another fish shop tomorrow for a female but it doesnt look good. Oh and after seeing the tanks at the first shop I wont return the male if need be Ill get a seperator for the tank till I get it sorted.

What did you want help with lo?
Good choice by not getting a fish from a crap tank... you'd be surprised how many people buy fish from infected tanks whihc are clearly visible

lol I wanted to know if it would be ok to put another female in with them cause I dont want to return any to infected tanks. The shop said they had a flood and water got into their tanks

I wouldn't buy another one. When two of them pair up the third is likely to get bashed. Leave them for a bit and they should settle down in a week or so.
Normally when you buy kribs you look for two that are hanging out together. They will have paired off and this problem doesn't happen. Having said that yuors will pair off soon and then you will have lots of babies to look after.

When I bought a pair the male continously bullied the female for about 5 days and then they were fine after that. After 3 weeks I had fry and they are a perfect couple now...lol
