yesterday i was out in cardiff shopping, and on the way out of cardiff i noticed a small tropical petstore, and just had to have a look.
when i went in there there was a tank full of kribs, and i have always wanted a pair of kribs, so i bought a pair for £9 :X
i got home and let them settle in steadily, i left the lights off, and didn't disturb them for atleast 2 hours.
i fed them last night at about 9:30pm on bloodworm and they fed well, i noticed aswell that they were chasing each other out of caves and occasionally the male would nip at her side, i thought it was just natural, so i left it.
i woke up this morning and the male was dead :( and the female was a bit ruffed up but nothing too serious.

anyway my question is, if i went out and bought another male for my 1 female would they get along straight away, or would it take time, or wouldn't it happen atall?

thnx in advance :)

just came back from the petstore and they had lots of kribs, they usually only have 5-6 in any 1 tank, any way i bought 1 male from there, he was only £2.90, i bought my other 1 for £4.50, he is still floating in the bag, adding water inot the bad every 15 mins.

i cant wait to let him free into the tank, he has a girl to meet :hey: hope they get on, not like the last male :(

i might post pics, ill update alittle later :)

Yeah kribs can be very aggro... I had a pair and one was bullying the other, so I kept the one and gave one to my sis. My one died after a couple of days but my sis still has the one on its own and it looks great (colour etc has much improved since we split them up). Try keeping one on its own if it doesn't work out.
