I have also posted this in Livebearers but no one there at present and i need help.
A couple of weeks ago i got guppies from my LFS. Within a week 1 died and 2 days later another. Decided to get another 2 females (had 1 male left) but 2 days later female died and then the male. Thought lfs had bad batch so decided to use different supplier, but in the mean time my other female died. Purchased another 5 guppies 6 days ago and then found one of the females dead this morning. I am worried i am going to lose more. Can anyone help? The rest of the fish are fine and the was no obvious signs of disease on the guppies that died.

How where they acting before they died? Did you do a water change before adding more fish? Have you treated the tank at all? I would treat the tank even if the other fish seem fine. I would also wait awhile before adding anymore fish. Just a thought, have you seen the gouramis chasing any fish around? Honey gouramis are normally pretty docile, but I have seen some mean ones too. :/

Before 2 of the females died they were acting strange. They would do a ' corkscrew dive' to the bottom of the tank, wait a couple of secs at the bottom and then swim back up to the top and repeat this process quite a few times before they died. The male did something similar, but the others just seemed more docile and not as lively as usual. The gouramis have never bothered the other fish unless the other fish go for thr gouramis which is very rare.
