Help With Goldfish

I have Goldfish in my fish tank it is a 40 GAL US i feed it TeraMin Tropical Flakes for some time it is eat good but it is poop is red.I have not got any new fish in 3 week and they are do good in there

Try posting this is the coldwater section you should get more replys but I'll try to help. What are you water stats e.g. ammonia, nitrite, nitrate? You shouldn't feed coldwater fish tropical food. Thats why they have topical fish food for tropical fish and goldfish for for coldwater fish. The red poop might be linked with the tropical fish food. How many goldfish do you have in the tank, is there any other fish in the tank with them? What kind of filter are you using? How long have you had them?

If you only have the goldlfish in there at the moment a good sized tank for it, have you been feeding bloodworms to the fish, red poo can be normal, but also it can mean internal parasites, does the red poo look like a worm, does the goldfish have an inflamed or enlareged anus.
