Hi all. I have recently finished keeping piranha and i am looking for help/suggestions to what i am going to keep in my 72x24x18 tank. Im basically looking for something planted with some easy to keep fish.

Any members here who are members of other fish sites might recognise me.....im Alan.

Many thanks in advance.. Alan

well if you want to stay piranha-esque, you could go with a large school of exodon paradoxus. they do very well in a planted setup.

to be honest i wanted to steer away from anything that is going to be hard work maintenance wise. i dont mean cleaning etc but as with piranha you cant even put your hand in to put a plant in. i currently have 2 filters totaling approx 2000l p/h.

exodons arent that hard to maintain. theyre a lot cleaner then piranha, and as long as your filtration is good, youll be ok. also, planting or adjusting plants with them in the tank is fine. some of mine might nip at me a little, but usually they dont bother me. and their bites dont hurt. i move plants around in one of my exodon tanks all the time with no problems at all.

Is there any theme you like? Deep water? shallows? African lake? Sandy bottom? (I just want to know if you have a sandy bottom :D ) Welcome back!!
