Help With Filter

Everyone

Could any one help me,I have an Aqua pro 2004 filter ,I cant get it to pump water round.
Could someone tell me the step method to getting it going.

I done complete clean and filter but cant get it to go,I have tried sucking the end (yuck)didnt work.
any help urgently needed as fish have no filter .

LOL brave... Some filters require you to fill them up with water first before they work. If its an internal filter, just submerge it then fix the top back on, clip it in and plug it in, then switch it on.

Most canister filters have a primer pump to get the water started to the filter. as mentioned, they have to be filled with water first. You can do that by using the primer or by simply filling it with dechlorinated water. You will still have to use the primer a little to get the intake line full of water.
