Help With Diagnosis Please

Hello,

Any help would be much appreciated, the guppy just gave birth a day prior to noticing the spot, at first I suspected it was the after birth sack, but it seems to be growing, and has almost enveloped one of the two small fins near the anus. It appeares to be a solid/soft translucent pink growth. I could not find anything in any of the books I have or searching with google.

Thanks for looking, hope someone knows what should be done. Let me know if I missed any information that is needed.

I don't know for sure, but it look like a hernia; if it is there's nothing you can do, I'm afraid

Hello,

Thank you for the reply, I feared it was some kind of rupture from birthing. If anyone else has any input would be happy to hear it. Guess I will watch the fish for signs of improvement (not very likely) or more probably discumfort/pain, and cull her when necessary.
