Help With Ammonia Please Look

Rite i have had a prawn in my tank for about 5 days my ammonia is at about 2 maybe 3 but i bought household ammonia can i take prawn out and add that to get it to 4 ppm

cant see why not. i had been putting flake food in mine to start it was at 1 ppm then i got my ammonia used the converter to see how much i need to put in. added it to get it to 5ppm took 10 days to go back to 0 just added it again and its going dwn much quicker now. so ansa is yes.

Yup, you sure can remove the prawn.

I wouldnt add any more ammonia yet though, 2-3 ppm is plenty to get your cycle started. Wait til it gets down to 0 and then use the bottled ammonia.
