i just wanna know if i can grow comomba and amazon sword with 23 or maybe it was 32 watt lighting  in my 45 gallon aquarium.
with a diy co2 reactor attach to power filters propellor and only liquid fert with micro and trace elements. i can only keep fine gravel substrate cuz no other substrate is availible here.
p.s:i dont care if they,ll grow very slowly. i just want some living healthy plants.

Potting compost mixed with sand bottom layer(1 part sand, 1 part compost(wet/damp the sand first)), middle layer sand(lay it wet/damp)( To seal the first layer from the top layer and tank water), top layer gravel. You may get some green water depending on the compost and if it leachs through the two top layers, but you will not need any fert or trace elements. The green water will not do any harm to your plants or fish just do your water changes as normal and it will clear.
