Help; Unknown Oscar Parasites

Hi!

Can any one help me to diagnose a parasite occuping my tropical tank?

I have noticed pin head size brown dots walking around on my fish but cannot find any explanation of these guests in my fish books/internet.

Please can anyone help!

Are they disc shaped with legs.

No, they are like small dots that are green/brown in colour, less than 1mm in diameter, and appear to move around the top of my fish in a running motion (unfortunately they are too small to see their legs).

I cannot see an independant head - I think their whole body is round like a ball instead of segments (like a beetle).

I have now found 3 on one albino oscar; they are hanging around the top fin?

My fish don't appear to be rubbing. and I cannot see any wounds/holes anywhere.

We clean our fish out every week (20% water change with Aquasafe, media washed, tank vaccuumed).


I really am stumped!

Do you have any snails in your tank, as all i can find so far is black spot which can come in brown too.
