Help! Trouble Feeding A Green Clown Goby

ive been having trouble feeding my green clown goby. the only thing i can get him to eat is frozen brine shrimp. now lately he eats less and less it seems like and he looks really skinny. what can i do?

would live newly hatched brine shrimp be better? any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Try Brine Shrimp Plus by Formula Foods. For one, fish usually love this stuff [it has brine shrimp, fish, clam, squid, green algae and added vitamins], and two, brine shrimp is probably the least nutritious food for fish.

Have you tried frozen mysid shrimp or Cyclopeeze? SH

i havent tried either. i can get frozen mysis but my schedual wont allow me to get some till monday. cant get cyclopeeze any were around here so i have to order it. does it matter if it freeze dried or frozen or anything.

I think there is a jarred version too. My blenny wouldn't eat for a week..it now takes cyclopeeze. SH

If you still have trouble get some Garlic extreme, it's natural garlic extract and is very good for getting picky eaters going. Either add drops to the whole tank or soak the food before adding, the garlic makes the food more attractive as its oily and very pungent.
This stuff is sometimes quite good for treating Marine Ich too, as the fish digests it it then seeps through the body, the parasites hate it and drop off.

If its the one i think it is then it should rellish frozen plankton, thats what i feed to my blue one and it goes crazy for it. I also know the yellow clown gobys love it aswell.

mine did go to the plankton much but then i only tried it once......maybe ill get some garlic extract and soke it in it for a bit and then feed it.............

i tried some mysis shrimp today and my clown goby dived for it. i was only able to get him to eat a few very small pieces........now he just ignores it....ill try again later.
