I wouldn't think a fish would be able to survive that.. looks like it's insides burst out of it's body.. I would keep the water as clean as possible, and hope for the best. That looks horrible. ::(

Sorry to have to say this, but it should be put down. Whether that's from an internal disorder bursting out, or from a major battle, no fish will survive looking like that.
Too bad. That's a beauty. :(

Looks nasty, sorry.

yup its very nasty but hes still swimming around like nothing is wrong. and it dont look like a fish did that all my fish are very peaceful.. did water changed and added more salt ill keep every1 updated thaxs for the info Van

Do you think adding salt is going to put his abdomen back inside his body and stitch the wound back up? He is never going to recover, stop making him suffer.

I wouldn't put it down. If you keep the water clean there is a chance that stuff will just fall off, and the wound could heal..

Personally I never put fish down, I always try to save them regardless of their condition.. but that's just me.

Well done Vito, you did the right thing.

If you keep the water clean there is a chance that stuff will just fall off, and the wound could heal..

Yes, his intestines will fall off and he'll be fine.

Our fish depend on us for so much, but most importantly to release them from pain at the end of their lives. You did the right and kindest thing, Vito.

It looks like tapeworm or fluid filling up in the stomache, pushing out its guts- i've tried to save fish from this before to no avail, i'd advise you put it down as its generally incurable when it gets to this stage.

So sad, sorry to hear about your fish. Good luck with the rest of your tank if it was infact a desease.
