I was cleaning my aquarium today and when i went to move a rock i did not realize that one of my pleco was inside of it and tried to escape from a hole at the bottom, and is now lodged in. I am not able to move him and i am afraid if i push to hard i might hurt him. Any help would be much appreciated.

thanks

ryan

Is there a way you could gently break the rock at all? Could you get a picture up at all, of the way he is stuck in there?
Is it a plastic rock like deocation pre-made, or is it a natural rock with holes?\

Oh and :hi: :hi:

:fish: :kana: :fish:

eek...

Thankfully I've never had this problem with a plec...

unfortunately the way they are designed will make it almost impossible to to "reverse" out...

could you carefully break the item its stuck it?

i had this problem once before with a catfish i took the orniment out the tank and quickly wraped a towel round it then hit it with a hammer then unwrapped it then put the the catfish back in the tank safe and sound :good:

,
why did you do that you could have hurt the catfish inside. what if it died ,you would not be very happy if that happend!!!!!!!!!!

that is why i wrapped a towel round it so wen i it with a hammer it would only crack the orniment in two which it did so thanks for your input wot would you have done left it in there to die

Id leave him a while to settle down, my Plec's wedge them selves in places and when ready release themselves. If not the id try to crack the rock/ornament to free the fish.
