Help! Single White Spot, Is It A Worm?

Hey I have an adult rosetail betta and he has had this single white speck which seems to be slightly indented into the top of his head. Hes had it for about a month, i dont know what it is but ever since he's had it he's been a lot less lively. He still eats well hes just not as active and usually hiding in his cave. Ive already tried treating him for fungus and ich but nothing seemed to help. Im on my phone right now but ill post a picture when im back on my desktop. Water conditions are good, he lives in a fluval 2 gallon with an oversize 3stage filter and heater. Nothing else in the tank besides a snail, what could it be?

Is it like a little dot (similar to the white speckles associated with white spot), or is it more of a protruding lump?
