hi everyone
need some urgent advice if possible
noticed one of my blue 'mickey mouse' plattys has a white lump of the top of its head... so we treated it using medication for bacterial infections on friday but still has not cleared. now some of my other fish are doing slight flicks on gravel/rocks, and also pecking the gravel.
any ideas/suggestions as to what to do
thanks in advance

It might be ich or "whitespot" if your platy is scratching. Can I see a picture? It will be a better diagnosis. For now, stop dosing antibiotics, because if it is ich its not helping, maybe even hurting the fish. Raise the temp slowly to above 82 degrees

If the lump looks like a grain of salt then it is probably ick, a parasite. Rubbing on things and flicking (flashing) against the grave is a sure sign of parasites. Look for more white spots to randomly appear on the fish, like little salt grains. This would most certainly be ick.
