Help! Sharks Nose Needs Help

Hi,
I am new here so i hope i can get some gr8 advice... I have a two yr old silver shark and over the last month or so he/she has developed a sore on the end of his nose, skin is coming off it doesnt seem to be getting better (I've tried adding salt to the tank to aid the process)

My shark is eating and is perfectly fine i would really like any help from you guys

How many gallons is the tank.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph.
Has he been rubbing his nose in the gravel.
If the skin broken you will need a bacterial med.
