Please can someone help. I got my mum her first betta a few weeks ago and everything was going well. However, I went round tonight and have noticed that one of it's eyes is missing. This is recent, and it looks white with red in the middle, with bits hanging off. It isn't popeye it just appears to have disappeared - although there is nothing sharp in his tank, and no other fish, so it is a real mystery. He is still eating, but is a bit quiet. I really want him to be ok so any suggestions as to how to help him would be much appreciated. Should we put some Melafix in the water or would aqaurium salt be better? Thank you for any help. I have relied on these boards so much since rescuing my boys.
