Actually the tank cleaning might be important.
Are you sure the water was good (chlorine, ph etc.)?
How is the fish acting?
Is there any discoloration?
Any bloating?
Any scales missing?
Are the eyes cloudy?
Can you take a picture and post it here?
:(

It probably does matter if your fish has just began showing signs of degradation after your clean.

So a few questions are need to be answered in order for people to help you.

How did you clean your tank? partial water change or complete overhaul?

What are you water params like now?

What symptoms (other than dying) is your fish showing?

are the rest of your fish ok?

Sorry but I can't make a diagnosis on this one, I asked those questions hoping someone else might. In my experience I've noticed glasscats are a delicate fish, good luck.

well..... no other fish is dead except.... he is now :-( and i changed the gravel yesterday but kept the filter media from before and i got nylon tights and put my old gravel in it to mature the new gravel

i cant believe he just died :-( :byebye: i loved him so much :byebye:

Sorry to hear that vixen, I would check all your water parameters though, just in case your tank is cycling. There could be more problems round the corner :/

my fish was dyed aswell and it showed that it might have been getting weaker by not eating so, i dont know whether it was the stress of the change or just because of it been dyed
