My Salvini is swiming around upsided down and fliping right side up really quick and my BN plec is at the bottom of the tank belly up still breathing and swiming. This tank has 3 Jd's (all fish are babies except salvini who is about 3 to 4") my Oscar, jewel, and the BN pleco. Oscar just goes up and down glass same with jewel. the jewel and Salvini have spasms. is it a swim bladder issue.

water params are fine 0 on everything, ph is about 7.3 to 7.4, hardness is Kh=9

Update: put in some pimafix and the swimblader issue is gone but i noticed a white clothy looking stuff on his dorsal fin that runs all the way to his forehead, looks like a fungus. i think this is what my albino oscar had but since he is white i could not see the fungus. What meds should i use

Well not all your water parameters should be zero. You should have some sort of reading for nitrates if your tank is cycled properly. What type of testing are you using? Liquid kit or test strips?

Also how often do you perform water changes?
What size is the tank?

yes, tank is cycled nitrates is 5. weekly about 25 % and tank is 75 but all fish are under 3" except salvini.

Now he has a total loss of color, and scratches aggainst objects

Now my youngest JD is showing symptoms. he darts aimlessly and scratches aginst gravel.

Are there any other symptons? Gasping for air, not eating, lethargy etc

symptoms, have been said already,

rubbing against objects, not swiming right, white fungus/ cotton looking stuff all over his body.

he will be dead tonight, i know it, he is just at the bottom of the tank on his side trying to swim, he has no color, fins are all white and look like they have been eaten up, and of course he can't eat when he is in such a ####ty state

UPDATE: salvini dead, now my jack is doing the samethings as he was, the swiming upside down and twisting rightside up. Help i think this is going to be a massive death threat

Sounds like you have a bad strain of columnaris in your tank.
Need to get treating fast need your location.
They can flick and rub with columnaris and labour breath, are the gills affected.

yep it hits real fast, the second the salvin died it hit one of my JD's and he did everything that the salvini has done except die.

treating with Pimafix, Melafix, Fungus Gaurd, Fungus Clear. the gills are really badly hit and were the first thing i noticed on the salvini and the JD. They lose color within minutes and roll in circles.

okay just dosed and BN pleco died, just a JD and a jewel left

i think the tank is going to wipe out, JD now has symptoms. what will happen if it does wipe, what would i have to do in order to restart like restock and get rid of the disease in the tank, will i have to completely drain it
