I have a biorb 60 and after just 5 weeks the pump has packed up as it will be 12-13 hours before the shops open what will happen to my fish.

What fish and how many do you have in the biorb, how many gallons is it, sure the pump dosn't just need a good clean.

there are 12 fish all small 5cm it holds 60 litres.

Have changed the filter and if I take the tube from the pump to the tank out I can blow through this and get bubbles.

Not sure what else I can clean

You will need to clean the impellor.

To be honest don't no where it will be never seen a biorb powerhead, but i would take it apart.

thank you will try that now. If this does not work are they likely to survive to the morning

I doubt its broke, probably just wants cleaning, do you have an airstone you can run with a pump

there is an airstone but this just connects to the broken pump.

Will have to take the thing apart, do you have instructions to the power head just follow them.

Have taken the pump to pieces it still doesn't work smells like the motor is fried. Can the fish survive for the 12 hours until I can get the replacement

Remove the lids, do you have any cling film or a net you can put over the tank with a rubber band. so air can get in, if you use cling film put it on tight, then pierce holes in it with a pin, or they will suffocate.

Will do that. I have just cleaned the filter I assume I should change the filter again tomorrow and do another water change once I have a new pump.

Just need to get some air into the tank, good luck.
