Help - Problem With Betta's Eye

My siamese fighting fish has a clear large growth on his eye and is really sick... Any ideas of the cause or how I could treat it to try and save him?

I would at least go and get some meds that say they work on pop-eye.

And then maybe by then someone who really knows what to do will come on and give you advice on the perfect medication and treatment.

It is most likely pop-eye. I read up on treatments but I can not remember what they are.
