Hi, i have had two Mollies for the past couple of months now, and have jut added the third making it a ratio of 1male to 2females.

My problem is, a few weeks ago my male molly started being aggresive towards my female. So hoping it would make a difference i moved things in the tank, and even added new plants etc. It didnt help! So i got another female, so he wouldnt hassle my female as much....hasnt worked. If anything he has got even worse with my orig female and is starting on the new one. The other problem is, my female molly is getting stressed and ill, she has got a small bout of white spot which im treating with melafix, but i have now just noticed that one eye is slighty cloudy and the other has a couple of white spots on it. He is that bad he wont let them eat when i feed them, and is constantly chasing them to the point where they hide now.

Any advice would be much appreciated, as i do not want my gorgeous dalmation molly to die. :(

yes and if that doesnt help try seperating him from the rest for a few days. rearrange and then put him back im it will let the females make territory.

The only problem i have at the moment is, they are not in the main tank as that is in its final stages of cycling. I have them in a slighty smaller tank, and with one of the mollies giving birth there is no room for a net or box.

Leela (my bullied fish) is keeping away from him at the moment, but i was wondering if there are any better treatments for white spot?? I have heard that Protozin is good.

Melafix won't treat whitespot, if you live in the UK, "Anti whitespot" by Interpet is a good med for treating whitespot. How many gallons is the tank? If the tank the mollys are being kept in is too small, that could also be a major contributer to the harrassment between the mollys, how many fish do you have in the tank in total?
