My new clown loach's are ill, i got three about a month ago to join a fully grown one i have, one died before we could do anything one other has what looks a lot like white spot on its tail and head but the spots are too large 2-3 mm on its head and it has a conical lump on each eye which it milky white with a white center, I am not sure if he has too things wrong or just one, water quality is excellent with minimal ammonia and nitrates and PH is just a little over neutral, we also added a couple of fish from a friends tank a few days later which could have introduced some nasties, any idea please?

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Have the spots joined together to look bigger.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing, excess mucas, or laboured breathing.
Do the spots resemble a cauliflower.
Is the lump hard of soft looking like filled with fluid.

A pic of the fish might help if you can load one up onto the site.
