oh the omega 1 lol i have fount some algae pellets there contents are

ANALYSIS

CRUDE PROTIEN 8% (Minimum)

CRUDE FAT 0.5% (Minimum)

CRUDE FIBRE 10% (Maximum)

CRUDE ASH 25% (Maximum)

MOISTURE 11% (Maximum)

is this high in protein? also im buying 250g Hikari Cichlid Excel Mini Pellets... i have bllodworm pellets, tropical flake and now spirulina pellets aswell
what feeding regime would you reccomend for this and would i need anything else?? thanks so much youv been a great help

bloodworms, while good for other fish, are bad for cichlids. they can cause bloat. That sounds good, but I remember reading something about ash... i can't remember atm. Try to base your feeding on what I'm feeding mine and take a look at members tanks link. They state on there what they're feeding theirs and you can look up the names of the products they're feeding. Also did you read the pinned link above? That's where I got my list from

That's quite alright. They aren't stupid if you don't know. i didn't have a clue when I first started keeping cichlids either. And I'm still learning, as there is always something to learn!!
