Help plezzz!!

Hi all..I have a large'ish Plec, and I have notice over the last few days he has not been himself, has been lying on his back & side, just not really hardly doing much.
Also he seems to have a white stuff around his mouth, I really don't hold much hope for him, have put in Tank Doctor (BSB) I would be very grateful if there is anyone who can help me please.

Is the white stuff round his mouth like cotton wool?

Any chance of posting a picture ?
Is he still in the tank, or are you able to put him into a quarantine tank ?
Do you have any other fish in the tank ? If so how are they doing ?
Do you know what your nitrate readings are ?

At this point, I'd suggest isolating him if possible. Do a 30% water chance (most disease is due to poor water conditions). It sounds like a fungus, but I can't be sure. I do not know what tankdoctor meds are - what does it treat for ?

Sorry about all the questions, but it does help in being able to give accurate advice.

Yes it does look like cotton wool.

question 2:

Hope to add picture tomorrow, because water is a bit cloudy at the moment after adding Tank Doctor solution. Have been told this helps.
