Just a quick question.

I've just noticed my female platy keeps chasing my male platy and to be honest I think the male is getting a bit upset and nervous. Any reason why this is happening?

She wants to breed. All livebearers go through a chasing thing when they are ready.

Update-

The male is now spending a lot of time following the female around and getting pretty close to each other.
