I have a pregnant dalmation Molly, I have put her in a holding tank tonight because the others won't leave her alone and she was getting bullied, have I done the right thing? Because the male Molly is trying to get to her, I don't want to stress any of them out please can someone give me some advice please...

Ive never used breeding traps and would never recommend them, too much stress for the fish. If you want to keep some fry just make sure you have some dense plants in the tank.
When you say the male is trying to get to her, do you only have one female and one male? If so you should really think about adding more females to reduce the stress (if you have the space that is!)

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum! :good: If you are moving your pregnant fish to a breeding tank, that is fine as long as it is big enough. Ten gallon should be fine. Don't use the breeding traps that fit inside your main tank. These are too small and stress the fish out too much.

I don't use breeding traps either just alternative tanks with a breeding net maybe 6-10 inches from ground depending on gallons in tank

Thanks both of you for your advice, I have removed her from the holding tank and she is back in with the rest of the fish, she still hasn't given birth so it's just a waiting game now. This will be her 3rd lot of fry we had one survive from her first lot and 18 from her second. Anyway thanks again fir your help.

Don't use traps, really stressfull. When it gets closer to the time of dropping fry, other fish will bump into the side of her to make them "drop", these are then a handy little snack for her. You will also see other fish follow her around waiting for them to drop also. Cruel really but its nature
