i have had to replace so many fish because he rams, nips and picks on the other gouramis. how can i know if im buying female or male fish, since i know i should have more females in the tank please help, im begining to not like him anymore at least im assuming its a him.lol

yes do that, but ill prolly just go down there, see it, and post this anyways so ill say it,... google it or ask when u buy it. Google has many pics of male vs female blue, opaline, 3 spot, etc.. gouramis. The one u have is a male id say.
