Help Please

I was wondering if anybody can help my tank has been set up for a couple of months everything was going fine with my plants all low light plants now my amazon swords are turning yellow and some of my other plants have black spots on them I fertilize with a liquid fertilizer some are even turning a little brown.I havent changed anything in the tank except to add apiece of hardwood which I boiled first . Thanks Pat oh its A 20 gal. Since I have just started keeping fish this is a downer.

iv keep amozon awords before and like you they all turned yellow and died on me in the end .
but iv got some more a few months ago and put some root tabs under them and they look great usally the leaves start to droop but they look really healthy this time and all the leaves are a dark green as to a light coulor before i dont know a great deal on plants but id recomend root tabs for your amozons

Take a look in the plant defficiencies in my sig, may be magnesium or potassium

Thanks that helped since my plants have 1 or more of these symptoms I figure I need a good fertilizer Ill try that and see what happens Thanks again Pat.
