Hi

I think my fish tank can benefit from a few real plants, maybe all of then, but that's later, if you see my signature picture, i want to change the green plants behind the tree for the same plants but real, i have sand as substrate i know nothing about plants.

What do i need to do this change, do i need to add something to substrate, how do i put the plants in, what do after they are planted??

I'm a complete ignorant in this subject.

Thanks

All this depends on what plants you want. Some need nothing and are very easy to care for however other plants that are more difficult to grow need fertilizers, added CO2 and better lighting.

The first step is to look at and find some plants that would do well alone, below is a link to a article which tells you about a few plants that can do well without too much work. Obviously they are a few more that are seen as "easy."
