Hi im fairly new on the forum and am setting up a marine, its a slow process but getting there. What im looking to purchase next is a skimmer however i dont know which one would be better for the tank i have. The tank is a 4ft long tank bow fronted holding 260litrs of water. I have a sump where i plan to place the skimmer and its dimensions are: 12inches high 15 inches deep and 30 odd inches long. Ive been looking into a TCM V2 800 and brands such as Deltec?

Can anyone advise me which would be better?

Thanks

Dips

deltec because i have a v2 skim 400 and it crap.

Yeah the deltec skimmers are very highly rated by everyone I have known that has one. I have a cheapy JAD skimmer off ebay which works great (though the smaller JAD skimmers are rubbish).

:hi: Dips

Deltec all the way for me - the 300 would probably do the job but I would get the mce 600 (second hand)

How about starting a journel :good:
