i foudn just 10 min ago 4 that i can see so far tiny babies swiming about !

i think they are Red Zebra's

my tank has lava rocks form top to bottom across the whole back of the tank , so there is lots of places to hide .

what should i do ?

run out tomorrow and pickup a breeding net and house them at the top of the tank so there safe , this means i have to take out all the lava rocks so i will be able to catch them ,

or should i let them all be ?

no idea how many more are in the tank as its to hard to see in all the rocks and caves..

thanks for any info !!!

i have this problem all the time. i just leave them to it. theres no way i could strip down my tank everytime my fish spawn.

i am inundated with fry lol

can i ask how long you have had these fish in the tank.

i really cant see how you have kept the cories to be honest. would of thought they would of soon becom a snack  :/

had these fish in the tank scince spept , corry's are doing ok so far few fin nips , i hear you thgouh , cant strip is down all the time ,

is there any way to sex these guys ?

mine are both orange in color from what i'd read the femals and males are 2 different colors .

they arnt always different mate. long gone are the days where red zebra males are blue.

most 'all red' males do tend to have bluish fins though (or a slight bluish tint) and more eggspots (and more pronounced).
You can usually tell a male from his behaviour. i jave always found male red zebras 100000 x's more agressive than any female.

about the fry...i just let all mine get on with it. they are like vermin lol.. i'm sick of fry to be honest :D

ok great , thanks for all the info , was a great help , there hiding in there lots , on average hwo many babies they usually have ?

i searched like crazzy only came up with 5 ,

i have no idea how old they are but they are hiding under the rocks verry well and eating small tiny pieces of flakes
