i have a small tank which my betta used to live in until er he died.

to cut a long story short i'm giving it away to a mate who knows NOTHING about fish. dont panic the jimbooo crash course in fish keeping seminar is booked and he's bringing a notepad...

i think the tank is 2 gallons, 3 at most. in the pic it's the one on the left. the other is a Rekord 60 (10G)

i am looking for a site where you can select a tank size and it gives you all the options as to stock.

obviously bettas are fine but not sure what else he can put in it. I will obviously be dealing with any problems etc... so want to get it set up right from the start with the right fish etc...

it has gravel base, grass, and javafern. with 8W flourescent tube.

any links guys and girls??

if not sugestions are more than welcome.

Thanks in advance

Hi Jimbo
as I suggested look into killiefish for the small tank
not golden wonders as they can reach 4" but there
are many wonderful species to choose from
try the British killifish asociation for helpand advice on selecting a suitable pair

Hi Wolf,

good to meet you on saturday. i got home to a miserable fish hating girlfriend who had the hump that i spent most of saturday morning in a fish shop.

she doesn't quite share my hobby. As a result to keep the peace i decided to loose a tank. (but my best mate is taking it so i'll still be able to "Visit") sad i know but who wants to throw away hard work...

i did look into killifish earlier today and every where i looked said Min 10G. is there a particular varient you were thinking of. i am searching profiles blind at the moment so any direct links to 2 gallon friendly varieties would be great.

Thanks Jimbooo
