Help needed

Hi, just wondering if any one would help me, i have zebra danio's and the weird thing is one of them has spots but exactly same look as my zebra danio's and if i seperate it the zebra danio's go mad.. i seperated cause it has a BIG belly and thought it might be pregnant... now for some reason one of the striped zebra danios has a big belly which they normally dont will it be pregnant?? And is the spotty one part of the gang of zebra danios and could it be pregnant too PPlllleeaassseeee help!!! Thanks

Your spotty Danio is a Leopard Danio, slightly more aggressive version that chase zebra Danio's, playfully more than anything else. They could be pregnant but Danio's are very greedy and I suspect they've just eaten a lot, just keep an eye on them and check how much you are feeding them.

Ok thanks.. But it is weird how the spotty one is fat one minute then is... Can they get pregnant like leopard danios??
I presume i aint feeding them much, but thezebra danios have never got fat i just noticed this one when i was looking and i thought they were males!!

They could be pregnant but they don't normally breed easily in tanks. All Danio's are greedy and will eat whatever you give them and as they swim at the surface they tend to eat before any other fish in the tank, try cutting back a bit on the food and. If they are pregnant, let nature run its course and you'll have some more Danio's!

all danios will eat their own eggs, I've even seen them do it whilst still laying them.

Ok found out it wasnt a virus as such but it was something like it... please dont take it as offence i just though id say!! I have msn and aim...

no offence taken, I was concerned because many members here often refere to my site.
