HELP!!!
My Oscar cichlid is sick, it looks as if its face is rotting off, it isn't as energetic as it used to be, and it wont eat as much as it used to.
for those of you who will ask, here are my water tests: pH: 7.6, ammonia: none, nitrites: none. Tank size: 55gal, i know its too small for an oscar, and i'm getting a 100gal to replace it this weekend. Tank mates: Convict, jack dempsey. catfish, pleco.
i normally do weekly water changes, but since i noticed this i've been doing them bi-weekly. that helped for a while, but this happened pretty much overnight. i'm now changing the water (45-50%) daily but i havent seen any improvement. any advice would be very much appreciated.
