Hey,
My female endlers that I bought about 6 weeks ago are all dying off 1 by 1. They all died of dropsy. Could someone please tell me whats happening. :shout:

do they show any other signs? internal parasites maybe? someone more knowledgable will surely be able to help if you give some more info.
here are some questions to answer that might be useful

how big is the tank and how long has it been set up?
filtered/heated?
how many fish are in the tank and what type?
new additions to the tank-fish, bogwood, plants decorations, etc?
water stats for ammonia nitrites nitrate and pH.
ANY symptoms they may have (not eating/flashing/trouble swimming/stringy white poo/leisions, etc.
how often do you do water changes/substrate clean.

folks who are more knowledgable will need a "jumping off" point to try and figure out what's wrong and posting answers to the questions will help get things started.

all the best!

The tank is a 29 US gal, and its been setup for about 3-4 months.
It is filtered by a 30-60 topfin, and is also heated by a topfin, and its pretty hot out so that shouldn't matter.
There are guppies and platies in the tank along with the endlers, they show no signs of sickness including the male endlers.
I have not added anything new to the tank since 2 months
The water stats are all where they should be and i brought the amonia level down too a couple of weeks ago so its all good.
None of the fish show any signs of stress or sickness but my female endlers are all getting dropsy one by one. the females eat and swim alright. they have no other troubles but then they die all of a sudden.
I do a 25% once a week, and i siphion the substrate with a sump pump and its cleaned once a month, maybe less, i clean whenever I'm free and it looks dirty.
