Help Needed

hi guys. at the moment i have white spot in my tank and am treating it as soon as i noticed. but what it is. ive only lost 1 fish so far.

also

my catfish is actin really weird. he hasnt been out since we brought him, and his been out all day. but his kinda swimmin about, than suddenly stops and kinda floats to the gravel?? is the w/s causin him to act like?
also he doesn't have any w/s on him!!

please help me. i wanna save him if i can.

right "aeration" i dont no what this means! im using waterlife protozin. im on my 3rd day off using this and white spot is clearing and im using it at full dose by followin instructions on the box/leaflet.

It means where you use a pump and airstone to increase aeration with bubbles, or turn the filter flow up if you can,
He's not coping with the med and sounds like there not enough aeration for him with being a bottom dweller.
Is he darting to the top of the tank alot.

If you can't increase aeration in the tank I would dilute the med down with a water change, till you can get an air pump.

yeah i have a pump and bubble wall airstone in there. his not dartin at the top off the tank but he is just generelly darting about everywhere.

its a 96L tank. i have not got to add the med now till weds which will be the last day for them. are you on msn. will be so much easier

ok. his really not well. his not layin on his belly like they do his layin to 1 side. ill get a pic if i can.

I know he isnt that why I want you to do a water change.
Laying to one side can be a bacterial infection, but wan't to make sure its not the med causing it first.

Right if you have no issolation tank get a container fill with tank water then tip some away and add some fresh water and conditioner to it .
Place the container at the top of the tank.

right jus done the 20% water change . his now layin normally. dunno if his just tryin 2 freak me out now. do i need to do ne thing else?
