AND NOW 1 SILVER SHARK 6 INCHES (( HOPE THIS IS TEMPORY AS HE HAS A 4FT TANK, FOR HIM AND HIS PALS THAT I AM WANTING TO BUY))
did the water change and added the stress coater declorinator,all seems ok now ammonia is 0, so will do again in the morning BUT
i took the oppotunity to change the gravel in the 4ft tank, all was fine, topped up the water with kettle water so i could get the fish (1 silver shark and 1 siamese ff and 2 guppies) back in,, and when i did it was a rush as the kids were due thru the door any minute,anyway i had had the fish in a bucket and added some stress thingy to it,(and to the frsh tank) but when i put the shark back in he went ""dead"" within seconds, then i realised that in the rush that i hadnt checked the temp!! it was freezing way down to under 40`f, i had no idea what to do so just for a change i stopped and thort and thought " well if he dies, it will happen if i leave him or move him" so i scooped him up with the net and placed him in the top of the warm tank, holding the net and stroking his tail for about 10mins, hes now swimming round happy as larry!! what on earth happend to him??
also as you can see from the list above there are too many fish in this tank now, and this guy is about 6 inches long, so can i move him back when the temp has risen??
the siamese ff and the guppies are absolutley fine in there tho heater is on but we all know they go at a slow rate,
what a day this has been, i thought fish keeping was a relaxing hobby ... lol
I MUST ALSO ADD THAT THE SILVER SHARK JUMPED CLEAN OUT OF THE BUCKET WHEN I WAS SWAPPING THE GRAVEL, FOUND HIM WRIGGLING ABOUT ON THE LAMINATE FLOOR, THIS BOY IS BEYOND BELIEF
AND HAS REALLY FOUND HIS WAY TO MY HEART TODAY
EDIT**** I HAVE BROUGHT THIS FROM ANOTHER PAGE I STARTED BUT NO REPLIES, AND I KNOW THAT I NEED MORE SHARKS AS THEY LIKE TO BE IN GANGS (??) BUT NOT JUST WHEN ALL THIS IS HAPPENING
