Help Needed With A Pictius

Hi guys I have a common pictius I didn't realise it has barbs on the side of its pectoral fins unfortunately I caught it in a net when cleaning the tank my local fish shop have the net will fall of by its self but it's been a week and the only thing it's done had caused a sore on the side of the fish I have tried taking the net off but just can't do it any advise

Best thing you can do is catch the fish, wrap it in a wet towel and cut the net off as best you can. If you can get another pair of hands (one to hold the fish and one to do the cutting) that would help a lot.
 
And don't catch any catfish or loach in a net again; always tub them!
