SO MY BETTAS SPAWNED ABOU TWO DAYS AGO AND THE BABYS HAVE HATCHED, WELL LAST NIGHT THE FATHER HAD EATEN ALOT OF THEM AND NOW THERE ARE ONLY AROUND 5 THAT ARE LIVING, THE BUBBLE NEST WAS TORN UP AND THE FRY ARE ON THE GROUND OF MY TANK. WHAT SHOULD I DO? IS THERE ANY CHANCE OF THEM SURVIVING? I NEED HELP BAD!

 Remove the male immediately, if you haven't already.. If there are only five left, you need to check to make sure they're uninjured.. I dunno what else to do.

male was removed and i took out alot of water. i know the basics but what now? how can i check if there injured? they are so tiny i cant tell

I think if they're injured - there's not much you can do but let nature run its course. Do you have at least 5 containers for the hatchlings to be housed in? Do you have fry food? You'll soon have to separate them as they get bigger or they'll start at each other. Was this an accident or a planned fry? Best to keep your female and male separated if this wasn't planned... this or they'll fight each other is the result... they can't coexist in one tank. Forgive me if you knwo all this and it was planned. :|

it was planned i have fry food and housing arrangments. i know the basics and i have done this a few times but i think this is terrible i really dont know what to do. i guess i will let nature takes its course. poor bettas :-(

keep the water low and warm there might be more fry than you think. keep watch over them and tend to them like you normally would cause they might be fine.

ok i got the water at around 80 and i will start feeding the few i have left today. i already lowered the water too. hopefully a few make it out but i doubt it :(
