Help! My Molly Is Having Problems With Her Pregnancy

My Molly is having difficulties whilst giving birth. It seems like see is trying to pass a her guts/ a sack of some sort. See image bellow. Please can someone reassure she will be ok?

Sorry to say, but it looks like a prolapse. I've had mollies with this before. Unfortunately, survival rates are poor.
 
If you can, try and turn the lights off and cover the tank with a blanket. Any stress now could make matters worse.
All you can do is wait... and keep "everything crossed".
 
I'd just check her at feeding time

Yeah, it's a prolapse, all you can do is hope. And make sure water is as clean as possible.

Hi All,

Thanks for your help! Just an update. The prolapse looks as if it's gone back in. However the area still looks sore. She's eating still, but has lost a lot of colour due to stress. Hopefully she will recover. Fingers crossed!
