Help My Malawi's Have White Spot

hi,

some of my african malawi's have what looks like white spot. should i just treat it with normal white spot medicine? iv been reading that if i increase the temp of the water & add aquarium salt this will work & avoid putting chemicals into the water...

Usually raising the temp to 82f will be enough to kill them off but you would need an airstone going.
If you want to try the salt then its 1 level teaspoon per gallon every 12 hours three times. Then keep it like that for at least a week and keep going until 3 days after the last spot.

What do the white spots look like i.e how big are they and are there just a few or loads?
