I have T5 tubes built-in to the lid - its a BOYU TL550 tank.Should be fineProbably Lancashire is too far then as I have the spare I use for heating water for water changes.
Thanks anyway. I've got my lights on with tinfoil around the tank - I've just thought - it must be awfully bright in there - will it damage my soft coral?
Do you have halides - if so I wouldn't worry to much about the heater
Has the temperature dropped much?

Temperature seems to be holding at between 22C and 24C.
So it's OK to leave the lights on with the foil all night - right?
I have a yellow tang, a goby, 4 hermits (3 red legged, 1 blue legged), 1 cleaner shrimp and 1 peppermint shrimp, and 3 snails, 1 feathery soft coral.
