Help My Filter Broke

all i have is a pinhead 320. a aquastart tank. but the only problem is today i was cleaning the whole tank out and once i put it back in it stopped working.

now a want to get a dicent filter. need advice quick.

i heared about a carbon filter or a gravel filter which one or both WHAT?

this is the broken one. as u can c its small.

Have you cleaned the impellor and inside where it goes to make sure it not blocked up.
Do you have an airstone.
Ask in equipment on good powerheads.

i cleaned the filter. i just started taping it a two pieces oif gravel came out. i just got i cloth and squashed it thought the little pipe. but it use to vibrate but now i plug it in it stoped working. would a carbon filter be to big?

Sounds like the gravel has broken the impellor.
Don't know much about filters the equipment part of the forum is best for these type of questions.
Do you have an airpump and airstone need 02 in the tank if the power head broken.

no i dont but the fish are not going at the top. i did keep pouring water out and in should i post this in a different part

Need air in the tank.
Need to remove tank lid and put something over it with small holes in for air, do you have anything.

Go to tropical chit chat more members over there on ways to airnate your tank with the powerhead not working.
Don't feed the fish for now.

Do you have any spare old internal filters in the cuboard.
Or friend who keep fish with spare equipment.

he said he will try to fiox it ang give us it tomorrow. fish are fine and swimming normally. eating that white stuff, which is apprarently sperm. might feed them some flakee food they are still eating that white stuff so i am not sure. or firred bloodworms

I thought it would just be a broken impellor inside, not much else seems to go wrong with them.
