Help My Betta ! Urgent Plz!

Okay, swelling of the belly is dropsy. It's caused by internal bacteria. You need to get him onto antibiotics. It doesn't much matter what you use but the ones you can often get for fish are tetracycline, oxytetracycline (oxytet), chloramphenicol, kanamycin/streptomycin/erythromycin and other ones like this Anything ending in mycin, or says it's antibiotic. Antibacterial is not strong enough, things like melafix, bettafix, pimafix, are not strong enough to cure dropsy. Sometimes antibiotics are sold as anti internal bacteria, Maracyn 1 and 2. These will all help. Also keeping the water clean and warm should help.

I should warn you, sometimes dropsy doesn't recover. It's probably not your fault, this just happens sometimes and it's very hard to work out the cause. I hope he pulls through!
