Well, I have had my 65 gallon tank up a few months now. 1 1/2 months or so after my cycling.
I had 3 med/large Angels but the 3rd one got bullied to death and died. A few days later I finally found out why. My other 2 hitched up and the female laid eggs.
For the past 30 days they have laid eggs 3 times, about every 10 days or so. I am currently leaving them in the community tank as this is the only aquarium I have. To date no eggs have hatched but they are guarded with vigor until they dissapear. No real problems withing the tank with the other fish as they finally laid them on the tubing for the intake of one of the 2 canister filters I have running under the tank. I definaltly don't want to get rid of them as I have grown fond of them begging for food, I think they actually know I am there master

My question is will my angels finally get tired of this or am I to expect every 10-15 days new eggs?

I am a noobie as I have only had an aquarium since January of this year, I started with a 28 gallon and moved to a 65 in March/April.

I have yet to see them mate :shout: but I always know when it is comming when the belly of the female gets bigger, her tupe extends and they start cleaning off a spot for the eggs.

My current fish load is :

2 Med/Large Angels
6 Coradoras
2 Clown Loaches
2 Albino Rainbow Sharks

Thanks, any suggestions would be greatly appriciated. I really don't want to breed angels so I am currently just leaving the eggs go to see what happens.

Man do i wish i was in your situation. I've been trying to get my 2 angels tp pair off, and mate. But they wont. THey might have paired, as they arent fighting, but definatley no mating. If they eggs hatch, they will take care of them for a while, and then lay again.

mine average a spawn every two weeks, well for thirteen times in a row (yes i counted). i started running out of tanks and dividers that i separated the pair. i tried changing the temperature but it didnt seem to work that effectively.
