I just found my ADF stiff and upside down at the bottom of my tank - I thought he was dead so I got a net - but he's still alive. He's not moving much and won't eat.

Any other symptoms? Fungus? Cuts? etc?
Is there a chance of a picture to help us diagnose?
I have to say though...this is not looking good.
Turn the lights off and reduce the stress as much as possible.

sorry I can't get a picture. lights are off. He's just laying upside down, but he IS alive. He looks normal from what I can see, and the other ADF is fine.

Definitely isolate - (tttnjfttt - lol!!)
make sure the isolation tank is suitable though. I'm not sure what else to suggest really. Is everything else alright with him...is he old? If he looks in pain I hate to say it but sometimes it's worth putting them out of their misery. See how he is in a few hours.
If there is anymore information you can give us then please do!

i hate to say it, but it sounds like a internal parasite to me.... not sure what you guys think but i have had 3 of my fish die with this ..... and they all do pretty much the same thing, lay at the bottom not eat, not move and one day they will just be dead at the bottom, sorry bud but its not lookin too good....

I'm not sure if we can use the symptoms fish have when they have internal parasites and compare them to that of an African Dwarf Frog...

Also, the symptoms you listed are more general symptoms, not ones that point to internal parasites. Those symptoms would be more white stringy poop, eating but becoming very thin, and a red anus to name a few.

In my experience with adfs once they start to look poorly - they simply give upn and die. I've lost about 4 over time. One died within a day of brining him home, one started floating and then died within 24 hours, the other one simply disappeared! They are such tiny little guys that I think that if they are not 100% healthy they are easily susceptible to disease or simply death through non specific reasons.

Doesn't sound too good hun, sorry :(
